The logo and name is based on the crescent moon. When I began my own healing process, it was easy to continually get stuck on the areas where I felt like I wasn't healing fast enough. An experience I had during my massage education, showed me that the parts I had zeroed in on wasn't the entirety of who I am. Often times with injury, trauma, and pain we have a tendency as humans to focus on our "dark side".
The crescent moon serves as a reminder that even with darkness, we are beautiful and we are whole just the way we are. Pain, injury, and trauma need to be addressed, but they are not who we are. When we step into this truth, it's easier for us to be compassionate and gentle to ourselves, which facilitates deep healing.

Crescent Moon Healing arts is here to provide you with services and tools that empower you to cultivate your own softness in your body, your own gentleness to your self, your own self love, and to be able to hear your intuition clearly.

My Story

My name's Jordan and I'm the owner of Crescent Moon Healing Arts. I'm a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist, Intuitive, and artist.
Growing up as a queer person in the south was my initiation into healership. My experience growing up created a lot of trauma, shame, and left me feeling disconnected from my body. Trauma and being disconnected from my body led to a lot of injuries and physical pain. Time after time massage therapy was able to help relive the pain, fix injuries and leave me feeling more in my body. When I felt the relief from my first massage, I knew I wanted to help people find that same type of relief. My time in massage school deepened my experiences with mind-body practices such as yoga and meditation. They quickly became a powerful tool for healing, nurturing my body, and reconnection to the Self. Through my journey I've come to believe that healing takes a multifaceted approach and reconnection of the mind-body- and spirit.
Through therapy and these mind-body practices I healed, I came home to myself, and I was able to reconnect to my intuition. I explored what tools worked for me, and what felt nourishing to my soul. Over time ritual became a huge part of my self care practice. Nature had always been a safe haven for me in my childhood and I started to explore that more deeply. I really came to love how ritual was a powerful way for me to align my body, mind, and spirit to symbolically connect with healing that needed to take place in my life.
Healing isn't linear, and I still have days where I struggle, but all these beautiful tools help me come back to balance and have been so helpful for creating the life I want.
Undergoing this process of healing in my own life has made me passionate about helping you along your own healing journey and sharing some of the tools that have deeply resonated with my process. I want you to be empowered to cultivate your own softness in your body, your own gentleness to your self, your own self love, and to be able to hear your intuition clearly. I really believe that ritual baths, bodywork, and introspective practices such as intuitive tarot readings are vital tools to empower you to change your life from the inside out.
Massage Style
I received my education at the Asheville school of Massage and Yoga. My education helped me understand the inner workings of the muscles, and how the muscles function together, which is essential to helping them release. The yoga based program taught us about the chakra system and how to use it as a practical tool to support healing.
My massage style has been described as highly intuitive and thorough. I believe in slowing down and giving the muscles time to release. I've found the most effective approach is using a combination of conscious deep tissue, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy to approach the muscles on different levels.
My massages are focused on improving muscle function, versus a band-aid solution for the symptoms. With my massages I want to help you have lasting relief.
